Makes mugs of those, like Rory, who turned down the cash and backed the tour in it being a moral issue.

    Golf first...what next?

I wont be watching football run by human rights abusing nation states. I've already put that line in the sand.

....it's not just sport they are buying, of course. They are branching out while the rule of their petrochemical dollars hold out (through it's extended lifespan via corrupt governments).

It's not a world I want to live in....but I wish a few more people would feel the same way before it's too late.

I have a simular line drawn, I did not watch the World Cup because of it.
I hope they do not buy up more football (amongst other things)

Signing Kante is quite a statement for the Saudi league. Not in his prime, obviously, but he'd still improve most of the premier league. And he's not exactly a shirt salesman, like Ronaldo or Benzima.

Rory McIllroy, a man whose every word I hang on like a Shaun Murphy snooker commentary, has suggested that the Good Friday agreement could provide a template for resolving golfs Saudi troubles.

No suggestion, that I've seen, on who could take on the crucial role of the EU.
