We aren’t playing that much differently to normal. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be losing, but pretty much everything that could go for newcastle has gone for them in that half.

In Shady’s defence, Gordon was just given a freekick for being fouled by his teammate.

I would normally defend Chicago, because he is a legend, but this thread title was asking for trouble.

Livramento just got booked for winning a tackle, so it goes both ways.

That has been coming. Newcastle have been letting us have the ball and challenged us to have a go at them, and we have responded well to it.

I ended up feeling a lot better about that game by the end. Could easily have won it.

Certainly salvaged a bit of respect

It was a weird one. Could’ve been 6 down at half time yet we almost nicked something. And we were on the rough end of a fair bit of luck - deflections, dives, the bundle into Yates at the end - that on another day might have turned it our way.

Still think we’ve almost become a parody of ourselves though. It’s ok setting up to play in the break, but in 3 of the last 4 we’ve been really passive and allowed the opposition to just dominate us.
