Sunak for this year’s Portillo moment?

Nope Jacob Rees-Mogg for me… and it’s not even close.

Seems the people of Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr have let us Welsh down by delivering a Welsh Tory MP.

Rees Mogg is just about 50/50 Labour gain.

BBC exit poll has Reform winning 13 seats, which is distressingly high.

Yes that, but Jenrick please too. Fear he will keep it but Saj has worked so hard and deserves to kick his arse.

That poll also had the Tories over 130 which is depressingly high. I saw another one which had Rishi in the 60s, which I liked, but it included 15 Reformorons, which I didn't.

I would quite like Sunak to win his seat because that is his worst nightmare now. He must be itching to get off and use his green card and if he's elected that will really piss him off.

    Exit poll.

Currently conservative have lost 241 seats.

    Labour have increased by 206.

    So far so good.

    Chicago: watching intently.

Edit:: Rees Mogg talking on the television. What an absolute cunt. What is scary though is that Reform are coming second in a lot of results over the conservatives. That is terrifying in itself..

So far so good but the amount of dog fuckers voting reform is fucking alarming.

...and for being a venal corrupt shithead saving business interests money at the cost of the society that he is supposed to support and represent.

Although he doesn't make my personal top ten, given how eye wateringly bad for the country and it's people this complete shower of shittery have been.

It does seem like the canibalisation of the complete shit for brains racists from tory to 'reform' (a completely made up company with origins no doubt in rich and powerful interests that wish you nothing but harm), was indeed the plan.

This is the first battle. Not the whole war. Be alert people.

Labour are clearly benefitting from the right wing vote split. This landslide victory is on a lower share of the vote than they got in 2017.

Hopefully they (Labour) see that they will be wiped out by a right wing alliance/agreement to prevent the split of the vote in five years and will bring in electoral reform and proportional representation before the next election.

A truly inclusive and democratic system is the only way to ensure long term stability and that the real will of the people is enacted. But there are so many hurdles to overcome to even make that a debate, that I dare not hope.

Niven is on fire at times like this..

"On the other hand, perhaps we don’t need to worry too much about Reform building from here as photos will soon emerge of almost every one of their candidates fucking a dog while giving a Hitler salute".

With the right help from Russian bot farms, being a dog fucking Nazi isn't necessarily a barrier to electability. As recent history teaches us.
