Changing leader two times post election before the next election has something to do with it. I don't see that happening this time around.

    FT backing Labour too

Just occurred to me that the Cameron "choas under Ed Milliband' tweet was a warning about there being a coalition that couldn't get anything done. And now the Tories are warning about a labour supermajority that could get too much done.

Ha ha. The Sun has gone for Labour. Murdoch really doesn't like to pick losers.

Feels like backing someone now is just kind of pointless. Everyone knows who's going to win, with or without the Sun backing. Whether it gives him favourable headlines over the term is going to be more interesting

Just means they can run "we backed him but he's let us down" headlines (not that, obviously, it's far too long and has a two syllable word).

Good luck Ladies and Gentlemen. Let us hope that the right outcome after a steaming pile of shit for years now happens. And that the new government have the balls to do the right thing and not sit on their hands and blame everyone else. A lot has to be done to right the ship. Can we? I fucking hope so.

Even my mum is on board with this and she is normally a “oh just get on with it”, type of person.

Pity our side of the pond is about to go to shit but swings and roundabouts.

    Get voting cunt lickers!

    Chicago: Sending my best wishes.

Still gutted that I've got to get up early tomorrow and don't get to enjoy the carnage overnight. It's like being in the wrong time zone for a big game and having to wake up to the result - just not the same as watching it live.

Just get up extra early. Most of the good stuff is from 2am onwards anyway.

I’m getting some drink in and giving it a go as not working tomorrow. However, I’ve been on early starts all week so might not manage much past midnight.

Four hour drive in the morning, so not ideal. I'm old, so I'll be awake by 5, so hopefully lots of recounts.

Going to some friends for July 4th. Hoping to keep an eye on things and then get home in time to watch the real carnage begin.

You realise July 4th is today right?

Yes, that’s why I’m going to a friend’s house. It’s a big holiday here, in case you didn’t know

The US is having a holiday for our election, that's nice.
