When did supermajorities become a thing? It's a long established principle that governments with any majority they can hold together can do whatever the fuck they want, which the tories have exploited to the full over 7 of the last 9 years. Seems a bit off to get squeamish about that once you are about to lose power.

These cunts didn’t seem to mind an 80 seat majority.

But again, I think people are that fed up of this Tory playbook that it won’t cut through.

It's a desperate attempt to scare vaguely right wing people to turn out and not vote for reform along with a bit of trying to feed complacency and supress turnout for Labour. Either of those could move the needle a bit.

Probably best not to be in a position where you have pictures taken where it looks like you're lunging at the Italian prime minister who's desparately trying to fight you off.

To be fair, I've seen the clip now and they embrace and then she leant back to speak while holding on, which looks entirely natural. Still think a more astute judge would have let go of her as she backed away.

To be fair, if I was a Tory I'd be ashamed of it as well. Not sure I'd compound my fuckwittery by consorting with anti-Democratic fascists who are even worse though.

    We are all different.

    the Italian prime minister

Had no idea that was who it was. And a still photo doesn't necessarily convey the reality of the situation.

Edit: which seems to be the case reading your later post.

Why are people looking to demonize the British prime minister over an out of context photograph? When there is all the things that he has done, and hasn't done, that would do a much better job.

I will never understand people, although I do understand that the British are programmed to avoid the obvious truths. From the cradle to the grave.

It’s Ed Milliband’s fault. If he could just eat a bacon sarnie without looking like a weirdo the press might never have figured out that ‘hey, look at this freak’ gets more clicks than ‘this cunt hates you and wants to make your life worse’.
