Just based on that being the line that ITV took and the associated headlines. I am slightly wary that it just may appear that way to me as a result of being in my particular bubble.

More confident about the D-Day thing as he's being attacked on that by the mail, sun and telegraph. I wonder how long it'll be before they "reluctantly" "reveal" one of his kids was "ill", actually.

Perhaps a sign of the times when Sky describe Penny Moirdants seat as a marginal. She had a majority of 16000.

Robert Jenrick had a 63% share of the vote and an almost 22k majority in 2019 in Newark, but Labour are claiming this is now a marginal seat and they think they can win it. Whether that's right or not I can't say, but it adds a bit of interest to the whole thing, would be lovely to see him get a nice TV moment.

I'm in Brecon and Radnor, but now to be Brecon, Radnor and Cwm Tawe. Traditionally Conservative with a few Lib Dems, the addition of Cwm Tawe brings more Labour voters. Recent YouGov poll puts Tories on 29%, Lib Dems on 26%, Labour on 21%. Labour think they can win, Lib Dems say a vote for Labour is a Tory vote.

This is Conservative's 2nd safest seat in Wales. I'm waiting for more data, but probably going to vote Lib Dem who I vowed never to vote for again. Trouble is, this website suggests I need to vote Labour.

Fay Jones is quite an unpleasant Tory, so she needs to go.

Are you actually allowed to vote out there? Seems a bit out of order that Wales are allowed to vote in important matters to be honest. I was slightly surprised moving out of London that I was still allowed, but you're really pushing it.

We are, in exchange for not pissing in Birmingham's drinking water. So we shit in it instead.

According to that website, I'm in a safe Labour seat. It's predicted to stay Labour.
More interestingly, South Norfolk, where I grew up, has been Tory since 1950 (Maggie's farming secretary was my MP as a kid), but is predicted to go red!

Attempting to watch last night's debate. At the time I wish I'd watched it live as the football was so poor, but at least I wasn't getting so angry. Mordaunt is such a total cunt.

Sunak has cancelled all media interviews now. Rumours he will be quitting.

Not even sure how them installing a new leader would work, but hopefully will be the final chapter in this shit show.

Maybe Lee Anderson will fancy it. He hasn't changed parties for at least 10 minutes.

    No chance.

But by calling an election, he effectively quit as PM (albeit with the intention of continuing after the election). To let whoever (Cameron?) take over mid election, presumably pending a leadership election after the GE, would wipe out the Tories and make him hated by the Tories and regarded as more ludicrous than Truss by the rest of the country.

I just wouldn’t rule anything out by this batshit lot.

But yes even by their standards it would be absolutely mental to put a leader in who would unlikely to be the leader after the election.

He’s probably going to announce the death penalty tonight

Being pissed gets the death penalty? Harsh.
