I think it's happening. Finally. Lots of ITK people saying press conference at 5pm.

Mad if they think getting inflation down to 2.3% is enough to fool people into feeling good about the Tories. Does Rishi have something lined up for August?
They've been noticeably pouring money into things, leveraging an upside to every news bulletin with co-opted media, and started saying 'sorry' and bunging money at the public sector (in the very short term, rest assured). I imagine that the hope is that the muddled idiots that they have created through concerted propaganda and intentional brain addleing might get them over the line...and by holding on the mid term indicators are likely to only ever make it ever more uphill.
Such is my confidence in my fellow thick and supine citizens that they might get away with it...or at least more away with it than they should. And they will be all over the lack of any progress repairing the complete clusterfuck that they've left behind.
Until the general public wake up, and be a bit more french (like the handful of families that own so much of the UK), the long term prognosis is gloomy.
Born on the 4th of July is an excellent film.
Calling an election the day Paula Vennells is giving evidence to the Post Office enquiry?
Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
Big credit to whoever is blasting out "things can only get better" at the end of the street.
Standard waffle. Furlough was great, beware Putin, we have invested in public services (!)
No mention of eat out to help out. Yet.
Record funding for the NHS apparently.
Meanwhile someone is blasting out things can only get better.
Oh and he has just claimed they're stopping the boats.
I expect someone can fact (bullshit) check this better than me.
I thought that was pretty funny. Drowned out by Blair's old anthem and drowned by torrential rain. Almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
The cards!
July 4th is the day before the Euro 24 quarter finals start. Wonder if they're hoping they'll capture a mood of national optimism.
It would have to be a huge amount of optimism. The poll trackers show the Tories polling at the same level as they were under Truss (22.9%). Labour averaging 44.6. That's a big gap. I thought he'd wait until interest rates started falling.
...on the plus side, the bounce in market optimism should make my canadanaian servers cheaper to pay for this month end.
Fuck off, you Tory cunts.
I hear you might actually fuck off your Tory cunt. Suspect we're stuck with ours.
I don't know who will win here. Certainly not the incumbent. I would guess Labour
