    I'm not sure that's quite correct, is it? I thought Savona was more of a centre-back - he's 6'4" for a start.

There seems to be some suggestion that Bakwa could potentially play there if Postecoglou favours attacking full-backs or this 'inverted' system.

In the Europa league, we need to have 4 association trained to go with our 1 club trained (Yates) and 17 whoever we like.

We've already got Williams, Anderson, MGW, McAtee, CHO and Wood who are association trained. So unless it's specified as such, I don't see why losing Ola from the association trained group would require another association trained replacement.

From the official site when we signed him

Operating predominantly as a right back, Savona can play in central defence and was also deployed at left back during his time with the 36-time Italian champions.

I have just watched the Fray interview with Ange and it doesn't sound like he is going to temper his style. Gulp.

Like Tricky said - I wouldn't be surprised if it goes very well initially, in the long term I'm not sure - I fear there may be a Bielsa type effect later in the season

Presumably means Ola won't go to AFCON though, if he's just back from injury I doubt he'll be released to play for Nigeria.

I realise I’m probably going to be in the minority, but I’d rather see us play adventurously and lose 4-3 every week than grind out 1-0 wins with 30% possession and 1 or 2 shots on target in the whole match.
It’s an entertainment thing for me. I don’t really care too much about whether we finish 8th or 16th.

There's a reason why, when Anges high defensive line is being discussed, it's always illustrated by a picture from that chelsea game. Spurs didn't actually push it to those extremes on a regular basis.

If we did that we would get relegated. So you could really enjoy us much more while we have even more possession against Huddersfield, or whoever.

So what bits of football do you find entertaining - only the bits where one side score?

I don't really get that, given the majority of football is all about nobody scoring. Have you thought of following basketball?

Personally I can totally dig a fantastic 0-0 draw, where exciting attacking, is met by equally brilliant defending. It's all about entertainment for me, not counting.
