To be fair, with how we've been, that wasn't a bad half.

Agreed. Was an early critic, but he's looking stronger.
Most of it but I wasn’t enjoying those last few minutes.
Main gripes from that half are that neither Yates nor Neco should be on yellow cards, while Joelinton definitely should.
Think we've been let off a bit with poor shooting from them.
Yates, Cunha, Savona quietly having good games. Ryan unlucky with a yellow really considering Joelinton hasn't been punished for kicking everything that moves. We've gone a little nuno with a medium block which is good. Does it limit us forward a little bit. Yes, but we are looking a lot more solid. If they score one though we are going to get mullered pushing forward for an equalizer.
The full backs of Newcastle are slow. That is our avenue. MGW having a good game. I am guessing we hold on and then put on CHO and hutchinson/Bawka for some speed a little later on. Neco needs to be careful but has been excellent but i fear he might end up unlucky with Elanga running around like a mad hatter.
Big 45 for Ange. Can we pull something off? Not sure. hopefully Newcastle get tired pressing. Cunha in the back is certainly helping with the high balls. The man is young but looks 30. I can live with that..
Chicago: It's the hope that kills you.
Bit nervous about Neco. On a booking, still needing to make his tackles and with a ref applying the usual ‘away at Newcastle’ standard.
Already working out what our shape will be when he goes.
Probably lay off the rugby tackles though
Oh cock
Game over
I think that’s probably rather than definitely a foul on MGW in the build up. But I’m certain that it gets given the other way.
How the hell is Tonali not booked for that
So we're now Anderson and MGW against their midfield three?
It’s not even a Forest thing. Refs apply a different standard to Newcastle midfielders. It’s utterly bizarre.
