Please give us a run down of Dyches tactics in their comfortable 2 nil win at our place.

    Fucks sake.

So unless the manager is called "Dyche" we don't get the analysis?

I'm only joshing with you. The reason that we are largely shite outside the first eleven, and can't score within it, isn't particularly any of the managers faults. Although we'd already be dead and buried without Dyche's spell.

Not surprisingly given how knackeredwe looked, the stats show they did a lot more sprinting than us. We beat them at walking though.

    Morato.

Remember we could only add three players. Boly is injured and Luiz and Kalimuendo aren’t here any more, so removing Morato doesn’t free up any more places.

It's going to be uncomfortable reading for us dyche apologists, when the usual suspects deconstruct his tactics, selection, and in game management, for that game.

You probably need to sit down and shut up. As we have all been told, we know nothing about football, tactics or kicking in it's most basic form and Dyche is a God who could sucks melon dry through a hosepipe.

    Nobody has said that.

I'm just curious to see if all this moaning about tactics is backed by any understanding of what tactics actually are. So far no evidence exists beyond the use of a word.

Tactics probably won’t come into it if we keep playing our ‘best 11’ twice a week.

Which leads onto the next point. You can have the most amazing tactics in the world. If the players can't run around and execute them you'll still get bummed.

Anyway, now I've walked the dogs and I'm sat with a pint, I can still see more hope with Pereira . We executed badly. Terrible at expecting the press which pushed us back. Sels kicking was dreadful which limited our way out from their very effective pressure. Amongst the worst games I've seen Williams play and Murillo seems....dozy? What I liked was the willingness to switch it around to something which did work better. Cunha looked solid. Would not be surprised to see this formation Vs City to congest the midfield. Also would not be surprised to see Williams given a rest.
However our problem is and has been that we don't have a goal scorer.

To be fair to Williams he plays every game and it's catching up with him. He was never meant to play 90 on Thursday I'm sure, but then we nearly threw it away and he had to.

For the first time, I think we're favourites for the drop. We look knackered and clueless. And there's nothing on the bench to change things up front. Recruitment and Europe will be the end of us.

I think if you are looking objectively, two points at this stage is nothing, even with a GD advantage of five, they’ve got the better ,manager, aren’t as riddled with chaos and don’t have Europe. You’d have to say we’re favourites to go down.

If the manager makes changes and tries to reduce the load on players, then the fanbase throws a hissy fit and demands he's sacked. Because the backups aren't up to it. If he doesn't then we probably end the season like last season, tank in Europe, and probably get relegated.

    It's a dilemma.

Still waiting to hear about these magic tactics, and how its really a brilliant squad, such that we can circumvent these problems.

I like the look of him. Seems, for once, like solid succession planning for Murillo's departure.

Cunha for Championship Team of the Year. You heard it here first.
