If we don't win, then the gaiety of the weekend is dependent on Spurs and WHam, so I'm predicting a win. With or without Dean.
And i know they play at the Amex now.
They've won one of their last seven at home, against Burnley (4 draws but still) we have to be looking to get something from this.
I'm really looking at the next four rounds into the international break.
In that period we've got - Brighton away, City away, Fulham home, Spurs away. Despite three of the four being away, we really want to be taking at least four points.
West Ham's soft run of fixtures is over, they've got - Liverpool away, Fulham away, Man City home, Villa away, so I'd hope we'd be more than one win clear. If we aren't, I think it's probably over.
Spurs have Fulham away, Palace home, Liverpool away then us at home, they'll regard three of those as winnable, so they are going to be looking to pull clear of trouble. Hopefully that won't happen and full on panic will set in.
Now is a good time play them.
What?
Sels back. No Ortega. Awoniyi on the bench, no Lucca.
No. Morato either.
Not that surprising re Ortega given it looked like he needed subbing at one point on Thursday.
The good news is Spurs are losing.
The bad news is so are we.
Sels should have kept that out.
Has to save that.
Also, let's stop pretending Sels can pass like Ortega
Don't think Verbruggan was great there either
Fuck me, what a goal that was. The two dummies down the left side from Jesus and Hudson-Odoi were incredible.
EDIT: fucking atrocious defending. Some game, this.
Oh for fuck's sake. What the fuck are you doing back there?
Cunts.
Oh fuck off
