I mean, it's annoying but it's a technically correct decision and they made it quickly. There are multitude reasons to hate VAR and I'd can it tomorrow if I had the choice, but this instance isn't a good argument against its use.
Except who can say it’s the absolutely correct frame that they freeze. Or whether that perfect frame even exists.
Call it on the pitch and introduce thicker lines or a margin of error.
I don’t think it was ever intended for VAR to disallow goals for the length of a gnat’s cock.
It was never the intention of the offside rule to be interpreted in this way. It was introduced to stop forwards just standing next to the opposition goal keeper.
But we win some and we lose some to the random frame selector.
Felt like a must win game, but we always do shite against these so a point may not be a disaster. But going to have get a big win or two somewhere that’s totally unexpected.
Better second half, we have so much more intent with Hutch on. Taiwo also caused probes but he will only be ok for 30 mins or so.
Can’t see what elas Vítor could have done with that today.
