It seems Craven Cottage is not that User friendly for us Reds. Even though with Foolham having players missing for Afcon. (We only really have Sangare as Boly doesn’t count…) is this year any different or is Marco Silva auditioning for our job next year? I suspect the latter as they always come out firing against us. I am going to be optimistic and say 1-1 as we cannot always lose against them can we? I am pretty sure it won’t be 5-0 as the Ginger Prince has us working as a unit again. Would be delighted with the win Obvz. Maybe Douglas Luiz will decide he is not a biscuit and get 90 minutes in. I think Dom has a knee problem.

I write this before the weekend fixtures but I suspect that Monday we will have the chance to add on as Nuno and his boys are going to Citeh who seem a little less worse for wear at the moment.

I think CHO scores again for us and Wilson for them.

A valuable point and more space between us and the bottom three.

    Chicago: Strangely optimistic.

After the Spurs win I think 3-0 results this season are now 3-4. It would be nice to equalise against a Fulham side missing Bassey and Iwobi and who took a pretty strong side all the way to Geordieland on Wednesday only to lose in stoppage time.

3-0 to the Big Red Steamroller.

its Fulham, we have a terrible record there from memory - Xmas starts with a 2-0 defeat.

If Luiz plays 8 more games we trigger the obligation to buy for around 30M.

I read he has to play something like 60+ minutes to qualify as a "game"

Think it's either 45 or more than 45. Makes a big difference because he's gone off at half time a few times.

If we do trigger for the buy it's 22 million quid. if he stays healthy that in Prem terms is a bargain. The question is..is he eating Taiwo's biscuits?

    Chicago: Still having high hopes.

I'm uncomfortably confident. 1-3 for the Big Red Christmas Trees.

28.5M euros, which is about 25M GBP. But what's a Callum Hudson-Odoi between friends?

I'm pretty nervous about paying that money. The talk is that he may have some long term fitness issues and will never play 30+ games a season again. It's alot of money for someone we might get 15 from.

    Also. See wages.

I presume they are high if the fee is a large loss for Juve

We could probably renegotiate. He’s certainly good enough when fit and Juve want rid.

As good as Luiz is, he's not going to command a top-drawer salary anywhere if he can't stay fit.

Forest, if they stay up, will need to make a decision on whether £25m is justified to secure a player worth probably two to three times that without the injury issues. Someone who is elite at the level.

There would surely be a sweet spot on the fee and wages that worked for everyone.

When he’s fit, he and Anderson are the best central midfield pairing I can remember at Forest over the last 30 years. Possibly even longer.

I realise I've become a bit one eyed on this, but I don't think they're the best pairing at the club now. Dominguez is more mobile and takes up better defensive positions, while Luiz is an amazing reader of the game with probably a better range of passing. Pick your preference, and I think they're both terrific players, but I'm still taking Dominguez.

I'd take Sangare over Dominguez, and Luiz over them both when fit.
