That Ando pass utterly sums this evening up.

Dominant second half but just not good enough when it mattered. Not overly helped by another Taylor masterclass who allowed the continued fouling of Jesus in particular.

A stupid foul by Luiz cost us, we didn’t create a great deal (but more than them), Jesus had a couple of chances but didn’t take them or make the keeper work.

Dyche didn’t look at all happy at the end, the continued shit passes probably did him.

It's pretty much the best team we could put out, by most fans' reckons and it really didn't gel. Maybe Dominguez really is the gravy that makes the meal work.

A game utterly devoid of attacking quality (bar some of their left wing moves) decided by the costliest of many mistakes.
The 2nd half was like a poor man's 2nd half v Sunderland and Brighton - lots of huff and puff against a defensive set up with lots of (even worse) optimistic crosses and set pieces.
No ideas at all. MGW / CHO contributed nothing plus the subs just confirmed what we all know - Awoniyi has a worse 1st touch than me and McAtee is utterly lightweight.

How can a team of good players suddenly become unable to use the ball well?
Anderson was anonymous. How does that happen? Neither him nor Luiz took control. Were they on opposite sides of the pitch?
Only Hutchinson seemed to have anything going forward.

Why is Awoniyi anywhere near the first team? Do we think that by playing him someone will think he's worth a punt, take him off our hands? Him coming on when we're a goal down is the equivalent of raising the white flag.

As much as I loved him, it's great that he is fit enough to run around but please, move him on out. Or get the kids playing with him up front to give them extra challenge. Or give him to the Stags for a few months, maybe he can get a goal at that level.

Hutchinson may look a threat going forward, but he does leave Savona a bit exposed at times (making him look like a centre half playing right back).

The fluff piece by Percy this week suggested the club were remaining patient with Macatee. Not sure I am.

His awful touch when played a simple ball to feet, when needlessly offside anyway totally summed him up. He really shouldn’t be anywhere near the team.

Only watched the second half caveat but I'm not too down on the performance. For the first half hour it was constant attacks by us with them barely clearing the final third. We'd have been furious if we'd done that against a team in 17th place.

We lacked the cutting edge to break them down but it's tough to create against a good set defence, that's why the first goal is always so important.

If we'd have got the first break, we'd have probably won, draw would probably have been fair, don't think it's changed much about how good i think we are. Bottom half, pretty safe, final position depends on how we balance Europe with the league in the new year.
