Relatively comfortable because Fulham also tended to run out of ideas despite looking threatening every time they came down our right.
We looked threatening early thanks to Fulham mistakes. They stopped making mistakes. -
I didn't want to admit it to myself but deep down I totally chimed with the grumpy realism of that Mark bloke off the Forest Focus podcast, who seemed the only one there to caution against getting too carried away with recent results and be wary of this Fulham match.

We are a better team than them but they are applying more energy in the center and are set out to cut supply to our wingers. Gibbs White isn't doing much in the center. Jesus is isolated. Hutchinson is our main threat

I get that Matt is reflecting the fanbase to a degree but there is a tendency to conclude after every loss that we’re getting relegated and every win we’re going to make the top half or Europe. I don’t expect either to be happen.

Even though I predicted 3-0 to the big red steamroller I din't expect it to be easy - Spurs were absolutely shit after all - but I'm feeling quite deflated that after about 15 minutes we just got worse and worse going forward and didn't seem able to address their left wing threat at all.
Frankly we look like the team coming into this from a midweek game so far. -

What would he have been rocketing about? If you were asked to pick the home side on the basis of play, you'd say it was us. We are behind due to a penalty from an error in judgement. We are significantly out pressing them.
So beyond telling them to try passing where they aim, not sure what he should be angry about.
