Fullback with 100 Bundesliga appearances comes on and plays like a full back. I'm shocked! Clear proof that Dyche is a genius.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 9:59 p.m.

....after everybody else had run about for more than an hour. Good management to work him in and not destroy his confidence with a blithering debut.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 9:59 p.m.

Oh come on, he couldn’t be chucked straight in to a scary game in Leeds!

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10 p.m.

    Stupid lineup and selection tonight.

Hope he's learnt from it and we play better against Wolves.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10 p.m.

I'm annoyed how easy that was for Leeds.
I'm annoyed how piss poor we were at the back 1st half.
I'm annoyed how piss poor we were all over 2nd half until Leeds started phoning in the last 10 or so minutes.
I'm annoyed how wank our set piece delivery remains.
I'm relieved I don't have to spend any part of the weekend thinking up something droll for Wednesday's game.

Actually Netz looked decent and would have been a much better choice than Abbott at RB with Aina on the wrong side. Morato was an absolute waste of a shirt. Lucca looked ok and took his goal well. Hutchinson pinned them back a bit and could have come on earlier.

So he should come out and say “I got the selection wrong and I should have changed things earlier” Will he? Will he fuck? I’m sure he will come out and blame the players. Because he cannot take accountability. That’s what I dislike about him the most.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:02 p.m.

Yes, here you go lad. See what you can do when we are 3-0 down.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:06 p.m.

I heard the second half on radio Nottingham, Laws and Fray have closed the game absolutely slating our set pieces. Will Fray ask Dyche anything about that in his post match? The fuck he will.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:07 p.m.

Yes. Hard agree. As I said before the game I could understand him not throwing Netz in immediately. But it clearly wasn’t working and if he makes changes at half time we might have had half a chance. Instead he sat on his hands until the game had gone. And as you say, he will never admit any culpability which makes him hard to like.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:09 p.m.

He shows no signs of learning, sorry. If Murillo is still injured, he will play Morato again. At least Nico will be back and we will see about Sels.
I’ll tolerate him until the end of the season but matches like tonight confirm (if it was needed) that he’s not a long term prospect.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:13 p.m.

He doesn’t have any other choice though does he? I’m no fan of Morato but I’d rather play with him there than one of our midfielders dropping in as a makeshift. Or Boly.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:13 p.m.

Let's imagine that you are totally correct and it's all the managers fault. Bear with me, let's imagine it could be true. So he gets sacked tonight. Who do you want to see come in tomorrow morning to the training ground?

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:14 p.m.

Cunha. But the games he’s started have generally gone badly.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:19 p.m.

Why don’t you read my post? I’m not asking for him to be sacked. I said the opposite.

What I am asking is for him to take accountability for his bewildering tactics and decisions and his stubborn refusal to change anything until the game has totally gone and he has given another one of our promotion rivals a massive shot in the arm whilst demoralising his own team and fans. He doesn’t help himself. He takes full credit for his “framework:” when we win and blames the players when we lose. Ignoring his own selections and tactics.

I do not credit him with managerial acumen or intellect. The only thing I can say is that he’s better than Ange and another change would be fatal.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:20 p.m.

Cunha performed like Morato-lite last time out. There’s a time and a place for him but it hopefully isn’t anytime soon.

  • 6 Feb 2026, 10:22 p.m.

I didn't say that you did. What might be true is the widespread lack of support, and the sort of things that people are saying (that I personally don't recognise as objectively fair), might very well lead to that outcome.

So we might need to consider the consequences of our actions.
