It’s definitely two steps forward, one and half steps back with Dyche.

Hot take. That idiot Dyche should definitely not let players get injured, or play them anyway.

I'm half tempted to watch the Winter Olympics opening ceremony instead.

Not playing your new left back is also strange in the circumstances.

Clear from how he talked about him that he doesn't see him as a starting option.

We sort of knew that already after last week. No Murillo was a surprise. Not playing your new left back is also strange in the circumstances.

    Hey ho.

Yes re Netz. If he is not a better left back than Abbott is a right back then why did we sign him?

Debut away at Leeds on a filthy night with Morato inside him? I can understand why Dyche has avoided that one.

Right. So he prefers a young CB who clearly isn’t a PL full back and has barely played any games to a German U21 international who’s played over 100 games in the Bundesliga.

As baffling as ever from Dyche.

He's a big lad Morato. That sounds quite uncomfortable.

Personally I'm with des on this one. The player that we've never seen play, that has never played with any of these players, that has never played at the level, I don't mind not playing his first game away in a filthy february night game.

I imagine the ginger wizard would take some terrific flack if he'd tossed in him.

Sometimes there are least worst choices that need to be taken.

Or keep selecting players who are clearly not up to it….

Not expecting to be starting the Wolves thread now, which is good news for Ingo at least.

Ingo won’t step up for what will now be a critical game.

Ingo always steps up. And smashes it.

Paul Taylor says "Murillo has a slight calf problem. Not thought to be serious. But will ask Dyche afterwards."

Well if nothing else, tonight’s team/selection just reemphasises how bad the summer recruitment was. The state of the defence and we have a £35m wide attacker unable to make the bench whilst close to £80m in wide players keep it warm.

Lawsy is setting up to keep it tight, and would take the draw.

Because we could get him cheap and Dyche won't be manager next season?

    Whatever happened to the reducer?
Someone needs to resurrect it quickly and give one to Gudmundsen

Even by our standards 4% possession in the opening 7 minutes is quite an achievement.

Three dribbles and I think he has strolled past a different player each time.
