    Sunday Neco gets sent off
    Monday's transfers make us scoff
    Tuesday some still missing Toff
    It's Friday I'm in Leeds.

Talking of The Cure how do we remedy Neco going a game early with his Kemar Roofe tribute act?
Do we cast a Netz in the role?
    Does Murillo play left back?
Do I watch from behind the sofa as Morato attempts to deal with DCL whilst letting the ball bounce AGAIN?
Will someone introduce Anderson's crossing to the law of averages?
Will there be any ingoference in this match thread?

2-2. Late equaliser. Not sure for who. Followed by a tedious debate as to whether it's a point gained or 2 dropped.

    Spoiler alert - it's both.

Will be watching in East London with a Leeds fan. Loser has committed to joining Reform. We better not lose.

Does anyone know how close you have to be on the M69 before radio Nottingham comes into teams into range?

On a good day, on the highest peak, at full moon, you can just about get it in Sheffield.

    But just use Partridge?

The lateness of the Brentford thread needed offsetting.

Friday I’m in Leeds as well. Never been to Elland Road before. Expect it to be nerve wracking.

Great, old- fashioned ground with (from foggy memory) not a huge number of pubs to choose from nearby. Someone with better knowledge of Leeds will hopefully be along shortly to say that's absolute bollocks.

Only been once - the Chrissy Cohen game from, what, circa 2010-ish?

Is there a ‘dead ball shittifier’ buried somewhere at the city ground? First it was Morgan, now it’s Anderson…

Correct. The ground is in the absolute arse end of Leeds with approximately no redeeming features (or pubs)

I've definitely seen us play in leeds. Probably more than once. I have no memory of how or when. Can't remember a single thing about the actual football. Pretty sure that we drank in headlingly before going to the ground. but that might have been another time. We did town once at least as well. I think that was around a football match. Maybe it was the same one. Or I'm mistaken. I do know that the ground is in Beeston, not the good Beeston, and I probably wouldn't be drinking there.

    Hope this helps.

Dead Ball Shittifier sounds like a band Psychobel would enjoy.

It's many, many years since I lived in Leeds or went to Elland Road, but it's about a 20 minute walk from station and there used to be a couple of hotels along the way. There are pubs by the ground but they're all home supporters only, I would definitely advise having a drink in the city centre beforehand.

It's a brilliant ground, when the Leeds fans are up for it which they undoubtedly will be on Friday there are few stadia that are louder or more intimidating.

Edit: I just looked it up and Google says it's an hour walk from the station. Definitely not what I remember but geography doesn't lie.

The few times I've been we drank at the Corn Exchange area and then got some sort of official bus out to the ground.

We're parking a 20 min walk away and will pick up some fish and chips or similar en route. Beer will probably have to wait until the concourse.

And probably about 2 hours from headingley which just confirms that it’s always best to ignore tricky

Tbf he said he drank there, not that he walked from there. And Headingley is probably the best place to drink given it's full of cute 20 year old students and light on snarling bald men in white polyester.

My point, if I had one, was that I perceived no satisfactory recreational opportunities around the ground. It's an arse to get to if you take my approach...but it's better than being in (bad) Beeston.
