When Murillo is out, he does the hunter destroyer role, rather than the battleship....and unfortunately he's not very good at it...always at least a yard too late.
Sorry you are totally wrong. He picked totally the wrong side, injuries aside. It didn't work. He made no changes and the game is now gone. Dyche thinks 3-0 down to your relegation rivals is absolutely fine. It is more likely to be 5-0 or 6-0. We look dogshit. Confidence eroding, system destroying dogshit.
How is Abbott still on the pitch? How is Morato on there in the first place?
He doesn't. Might have been a different game if we'd have taken one of the good chances we had. I do get deeply frustrated that people, especially those that should know better, seem to imagine that there is some magic formulae that means that your team wins every game. It's just really not like that, and never has been.
Bar about 10 minutes before the 1st goal this has been as atrocious as I feared having seen the line up.
1st half Leeds got through our defence too easily.
This half they've just strolled through the whole team.
Done absolutely nothing this half.
We are getting battered by a team we are level on points with in a relegation scrap. No one expects us to win every game. But what has happened was very predictable when we saw the team selection and nothing was done to change it. Your ‘defence’ of it seems to be ‘others would be worse’ as Dyche must know what he’s doing.
Mmm. Picking your only specialist right back at left back, and giving a first PL start to a young centre-half at right back, when you have a specialist left back with 100+ Bundesliga starts on the bench, doesn't scream of optimizing your resources. Likewise starting a central midfielder on the right wing when your club record signing, a specialist right winger, sits on the bench, also raises questions as to the manager's selection decisions.
It rather seems like Dyche has out thought himself tonight. I suspect you're defending as much because he's mates with some of your mates rather than because you think he's actually doing a good job.
I get deeply frustrated when people watch shit tactics and players who have been selected who are clearly not up to the level and a manager who selects them in the first place and refuses to take them off.
This is the sort of performance that utterly fucks a season up. Confidence shot. Faith in the manager lost. Fans losing patience.
You might call it fickle. But you should also understand psychology, confidence and belief. Against your relegation rivals, this has been unacceptable.
