I can't get my head round people having so much free time that they watch people watching something on TV. See also: kids watching someone play a computer game.

My (then 8 year old) went through a spell of watching people play FC25 on YouTube. That soon stopped.

I'm delighted that the club does this. I don't know who / are is responsible but I felt like there had been a bit of a dip in quality recently . Obviously results had dropped like a stone under He Who Shall Not Be Named (Lord Voldemaaaaate) and they're much easier to do home rather than away, but for a while it felt like there was a bit too much focus on the non-match stuff (footage of the players posing for photos with kids who were presumably the mascots and some Fan Zone padding) but this one has much more pitchside footage - including an amazing angle of CHO's 2nd goal.

I know the angle you mean, and it makes it looks far more intentional than I thought it was.

Not gonna lie, video game streaming is semi regular in chez noodlé and I get it as background watching.. depending on the game and streamer, obviously.

I mean, Soccer Saturday was a thing for a long time. But in general I agree. I can barely muster up the interest to watch much TV that isn't sport, I'm definitely not finding the time to watch someone else doing it.

He joked after the game that it was a 'shot/cross', so I'm not convinced he was going directly for goal. That said, who gives a fuck? He bought himself half a yard by tying up the fullback in knots, and then put the ball in a really dangerous area at pace.

As he said himself, you're hoping it either finds the striker's head or the top corner. What is certain is that Hudson-Odoi at full tilt is such an asset to Forest.

The fact that the genre attracts so many narcissistic and hyperbolic arseholes doesn't help either.

I'll watch Biffa plays Indie Games whilst scrolling after the kids have gone to bed. It's less energy than actually playing the game yourself.
