As a midfielder he’d do a job, especially in Europa Tin Vase.

It's really poor organisation by Forest, well worked by Utrecht. Half a dozen Forest players packed in the middle doing nothing, almost marking each other, Abbott with three at the back. One man wrong side distracting him, the man Abbott was actually marking then didn't move, so Abbott initially reacted to that, so was late to react to the runner, leaving him with a free header.
Looks bad on Abbott, but you'd expect more communication from him and better organisation from more experienced players in the team.
