Forest v Brentford, Sunday October 1st, 2pm

Watched some highlights of the Brentford defeat home to Everton, they looked not very good at all. Several fairly important players out with long term injuries now as well - Schade, Mee and Damsgaard are all done for a while, and it sounds like Toney might not play for Brentford again. You can see why they wanted Brennan and why it would have been a bad idea for both us and him to accept any of their offers.

I will not be able to watch until Monday evening, I will attempt to avoid finding out the score until then. Assuming we go back to 4-2-3-1, the 4 and the 3-1 pretty much pick themselves. The two will be the interesting selection - I really want to see more of Dominguez, but I'm not sure if it should be Sangare or Yates alongside him. I would suspect it will be the former.

I'm not going because I wasn't paying attention to the ticket window and have instead been roped into a kids party at lunchtime, featuring a snake.

And experience tells me it's deemed bad form to routinely keep checking phone during such occasions and largely ignoring proceedings altogether until being admonished for scaring the kids shitless when you involutarily shout "FUCKING YEEES!" unexpectedly when Paul McKenna scores the winner v Leicester.

Although I acceot that last bit's probably unlikely to happen on Sunday given we're playing Brentfird and McKenna's since retired.

Party is 11-1 so (unlike parties attended by a certain board member) the kids are safe.

Interesting that our away performances have been better than expected and the three home games worse. Need to sort that Sunday.
