We bought a pizza oven 18 months ago. This weekend, I finally produced a perfect Neapolitan style. Making great pizza is one part science, one part art, and one part magic.

Sounds like something the love child of Nigella Lawson and Alan Partridge would come up with. It's dough with tomato sauce and cheese on it man.
Beans on toast now that’s the biscuit.
If you want to get fancy what about Italian pizza with beans and shredded cheese on it.
It happened tonight and it was delicious.
Chicago: Satisfied.
Today: Baked bean tortilla wraps, with apple and cucumber salad.
...or 'beans on toast', if you prefer, chic?
Had a meat, rice, and spices dish for dinner this evening. Definitely not a curry...even if it did bear a lot of similarity to a biryani.
Yesterday I made a treacle sponge pudding.
Today I threw away a whole treacle sponge pudding, including the bits that I spat out.
Can’t beat a good treacle sponge. Sticks to your ribs.
I think that microwave sponge is the best argument for owning a microwave. I don't. This was done in a pressure cooker, and the texture was too dense, and overall vile. Like slimy crumbly clay. Smothered in sugar.
I really miss my mother's cooking.... cough.
Wifey is a culinary genius you should email her.
Chicago: Lucky.
Apple, tomato, satsuma, chilli pepper, bacon, in yoghurt.
Carolina Reaper peppers and Bourbon. Not for the faint hearted.... or the sane..
Chicago: Re-thinking reality.
Oat risotto for dinner.
(porridge)
Mushroom biryani.
...risotto...
with onion raita and pickled onions.
Today's porridge: Banana and Marmite.
Mine was blueberries and, uh, that's it. Turns out I'm not even allowed the coconut any more as it's full of saturated fat.
Love starting the day with a bowl of flavoured wallpaper paste.
I have the same but add banana, maple syrup (which should be awesome out your way) and cinnamon.
