Is this some kind of inbred cousins beef you've got going on?

It's a long and boring story but there's one guy there I know who's a total cunt.
Neil Warnock?
Mangetouts cousin?
We used to pop to Boscastle when in Cornwall with the dog pre children.
The thought of taking young children there is shit so not been for a good few years.
@noodle (and probably @Mangetout), what is the obsession down under with putting cheese with everything?
Beef brisket pie came with layers of a red Leicester like cheese inside (my wife can't eat dairy so that had to go in the bin)?
No mention of cheese inclusion anywhere, it's just standard with almost everything it seems!
I have an amazing/terrible tip. If you find yourself drinking a shitty white wine, drop a couple of gummy bears into the glass. It sweetens the wine and takes the nasty acid edge off it, and leaves you with a couple of wine soaked gummy bears. It's not a choice I'd actively make but when faced with no alternative but shit wine it helps a lot.
I haven't been there in 28 years, although I'd probably qualify. Uncle and cousin were the plumbers, although the uncle is now dead and that cousin has apparently moved to Falmouth or similar. Other cousin and aunt still there.
Cheese is generally mentioned in AoNZ, not least because it's a selling point.
Sausage roll this morning, cheese running through the middle. The cheese obsession is striking!
Ita intriguing that so many things seems to be deemed better with added cheese.
Added scrambled eggs to leftover penne arrabiata. I don't care if the Italians would hate it, it works perfectly.
I don't know why it took me so long to get into iced coffee but there's a place round the corner that does an iced mocha that is the greatest thing ever on a hot day.
I have switched to this approach and much prefer it. Oats, chia seeds, soy milk, maple syrup, protein powder overnight, just add blueberries in the morning. It's much nicer than the chia pudding, the carbs are not ideal but it's at least one of the better sources and the dish is much more palatable.
I genuinely like it. Had it over the last few days, but not today.
Today I'm currently consuming penne arabiata, which somewhat wipes out one of the better choices on a rather paint by numbers italian menu at the place I'm going to this evening.
There's a new Asian grocery store opened round the corner from me and yesterday I went and stocked up on snacks that I don't recognise in packets covered in writing I don't understand.
Favourites so far have been chilli lime tempura seaweed, and something called a milk miffy which is a super delicate wafer biscuit that is both sweet and also cheese flavored, and tastes way better than that description.
Chilli and pea risotto, made fat free in the rice cooker. Teaspoon of whole grain mustard stirred in at the end instead of butter.
Recommended.
Todays beer snacks: Atta dough balls, and curry* dip.
* Who knows?
Atta boy.
Sounds like excellent beer food
