I can't be the only one wondering if you dipped the doughnuts into the soup?

Made a red cabbage slaw with red wine vinegar, and I had some fresh mint in the fridge so I chopped it up right tiny and added it. Worked very well.

I'm attempting to cut a little bit of body fat and get my abs back that I had last summer, so I've switched to chia pudding for breakfast. It's really good for getting a high protein / high fibre / low complex carb start to the day, and it tastes great, but I really don't love the texture. Thinking I might have to add something with a bit of crunch to make it more interesting.

Would be interested in your chia pudding recipe, if it tastes great.

Pretty much the only way I can take it is in overnight oats (my preference is honey and yogurt)..... Or where it's very incidental and the point is something else (using as a thickener/egg substitute). I mostly tend to grind it and hide it.

    1/4 cup chia seeds
    1 cup unsweetened soy milk
1 squeeze (probably about a tablespoon) maple syrup
    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 dash vanilla essence
    Chopped berries

Flavour is great, but the texture is unpleasant. It's very goopy, I'd like it to set more like a blancmange. I feel like I probably need some kind of flour to assist with that but it would rather defeat the point, because it would just add the kind of empty calories I'm trying to avoid.

Have you tried grinding the chia seeds before using them (pestle and mortar)? It does make for a slightly more mousse like texture with things that I've tried... But grinding chia seeds is quite hard.

I'm at a place called The Rocket Store in Boscastle, Cornwall. Tiny place. Best food I've had since last time I was here and I do a lot of lunch. Elite cheffing.

I've been. It feels like more like Devon that Cornwall. Didn't like it much.

Is this some kind of inbred cousins beef you've got going on?
