I have the same but add banana, maple syrup (which should be awesome out your way) and cinnamon.

...maybe get some cider vinegar and some chilli in there? It's the little added touches that make all of the difference.

Similarly chips are vile without flavourings...but add salt, or salt and vinegar...or chilli sauce, or ....etc. Amazing.

Maple syrup turned out to be the correct answer. Much more palatable.

    Today's porridge: Onion curry*.

    * Not a curry. Probably.

Todays tea. A couple of pints. I remember when it used to be breakfast.

I had three beers on Saturday, which was the last time I had a drink. Prior to that it was the previous Saturday when I had one beer. I have been vacillating between "how do people live their lives like this?" and "why haven't I been living my life like this?"

I've lost nearly fifteen kilos, in just over two months, and haven't changed my drinking habits at all.

Mind you, on drinking days the food I eat is very meagre.

Agreed, i've never been a big eater when on the beer, be that pissed or hungover, happy to leave it altogether. Bit worried about Russ though, sounds like he's turned into a lesbian.

I don't really care about losing weight, although I have dropped a few pounds since my diet change which includes the booze. I do care about my cholesterol and triglycerides and liver enzymes and shit, and in an unprecedented move I'm actually doing what both Chicago and my wife told me to do which is to make a significant diet change and see if that helps before I commit to a lifetime of taking pharmaceuticals.

    You really have changed.

I'm only mocking because I'm acutely aware that I've got this coming down the track pretty soon, likely when they get round to my 18 month over due "well" man check. However, until then, lesbian.

I'm a quarter of a kilo off my diet target, as of this morning. This bout of virus I seem to have picked up, might just help me get over the line.

Haven't had the energy to cook much, but made a dessert treat yesterday to keep me going. Yoghurt Cake. Think Cheesecake, but....you can work out the rest.

Wifey is investing in an outdoor Neapolitan Pizza oven. When I say investing, I mean spending my money...

We like Pizza. She has talent. I have hope. I won't look at my credit card bill.

    Chicago: Bankrupt.

...my wishlist over my remaining lifespan extends to the possession of two further things. An autogyro, and a wood fired neopolitan oven.

I am optimistic for the pizza oven.

Ingo's tales of your driving lead me to really hope you get the autogyro, we need more mad tales on this board.
