I am thinking of living an hour away from nottingham football (two hours round trip). I have ruled out living two and a half hours away (five hours round trip).
Don't dis shades massive achievement. Have another pint shades. I'll have one with you.

I have season tickets for the New York Jets. It's a 7 hour drive each way.

Only 9 games though, one of which I won't make (it has already been made abundantly clear to me that going to New York on Christmas Eve to watch fat men running into each other is not going to be permitted). So I have 8 weekends of drinking in NYC between now and Christmas, and who can complain about that?

I watched the Jets v Pats game on Boxing Day one year (the one which is probably most famous for Joe Namath propositioning the sideline reporter) at the old Giants stadium. It is, hands down, the coldest I have been in my life.

Five hours would barely get me out of the state.

The way the schedule falls, my last regular season game will be December 10th so with a bit of luck I'll escape the worst of the weather. If we somehow end up with a home playoff game that might not be fun, but I suspect the temptation to sell the tickets in such an event will be too great given how much they'll likely be going for.
