20mph aint bad, albeit I assume with drafting.

Most certainly some drafting but it’s still a fairly big step up from the high 17’s /low 18’s that I have been managing on other albeit longer group rides.
I'm averaging 12 when on the move, with long bouts of 0.
20+ is pretty good, especially if there’s even a small amount of hillage. Whereabouts in the world is this ride taking place?
Real faff getting ready for a bike ride (pub crawl) today. what with applying suncream and all that. Which I did with my shirt off. Looked more like an eastern european wrestler, than a cyclist.
Outward leg ( the bike ride bit ) done. At the nags head in Harby. Averaged 14.5 mph, which is fast for me. It will be a lot slower on the way back
Watched men fall out of the sky for a bit. Now at the unicorns head.
Had a couple of pints at the plough, with some (motor) bikers. At the manvers for some warm down exercises. Hope to be back for the second half.
Decent pub crawl this. Solid work.
Yesterday my free t-shirt arrived for joining the Concept 2 Million Meters Club.
At least someone got their t-shirt!
wanker.
Chicago: Collector.
Just completed my first century ride.. 100 miles in one go, frustrating day as the group had 3 punctures and a handlebar break, still nice to crack the 100 and know that next time it will be quicker.
Imperial century is no joke. Well done.
My work laid on a heart health screening clinic today, which seemed like a good thing for me to participate in. Did the whole blood test thing. Given how hard I've been working out the last 18 months I expected results to be pretty good, so I am a bit disappointed to find out that all my cholestorol markers give cause for concern. Didn't think my diet was all that bad, but it seems it could do with some improvement starting with the the booze.
I was told the same a few months ago. But then they asked me to do a fasting one a few weeks later, and it was fine. I think it's quite susceptible to what food and drink you've had in the preceding days.
They made me fast for 6 hours today before the test, is that what you mean? Or longer?
