In London Monday and Tuesday, so hoping to get a Hyde Park run in early on Tuesday morning (providing I don't drink too much Monday evening). It's my favourite place to run ever I think. Closely followed by Toronto Island.

Mine is to the chippy.
I have been following a low calorie diet for about four weeks (1500-1700 per day, but with good levels of protein because I’m old). Lost 9 pounds which is about what I was aiming for. Feel torn about carrying on eating healthily or having a massive beer and wine blowout tomorrow while watching Forest on TV.
Went for a short run in Hyde Park this morning in Forest tracksuit bottoms and Forest shirt. Was a 'lovely morning for it'.
Wearing that sort of clothing, and covering that sort of ground, you'd make an excellent touchline manager. Says nobody with any sense.
Went for a run along the river in Lancaster today. Didnt need to wear my Forest hat as it was quite warm. Pleasant views.
Had one supporter for our game tonight. One more than normal. The (past?) guitarist from doctor and the medics. A friend of football friends. Carl is a wonderful man, in general, and to spend an evening with. Even if he is a Leicester fan.
Don't think he has a bad bone in his body though. Loves football, and life.
I feel like I need a new fitness goal other than just "get jacked". Thinking of trying a HYROX race, anyone done this before? It looks like a fun event but I'm worried it might be a bit Crossfit culty.
What happened to the Ironman idea?
I did an Olympic tri and realized what an absolutely monumental amount of work it is to be IM fit, that I actually don't enjoy cycling enough to train to do it for that long, and that endurance sports are incompatible with my particular flavour of body dysmorphia / vanity.
Did my first HIIT class yesterday, it was core focused and my abs are destroyed today. Really enjoyed it, think I might add this in once a week to augment the lifting.
I've been doing those for a while. Find them really good for general tightening up and overall fitness in a short period of time. I've never really had the patience for time consuming exercise like running.
Did 5K round the lakes in Hyde Park this morning then cycled 8K to the office. Feeling good. Going to celebrate with a bacon buttie.
Bap.
(For some reason I have to add extra text to get it to allow me to post)
Sticking it Seb Coe and his cockney mafia once again, that's every year since 2008.
