Definitely Clattenburg. He was refereeing enemy number for a while. Despite the red being only mildly contentious.

Yep, even back then it was probably a 50/50 call. It was just such a shame he missed the second leg as he'd been superb that season.
A mistimed tackle rather than anything malicious, but he could easily have snapped Kabba's leg in half.
At the time I wish he had done
You need more shouting...
Chicago: Loud.
With decent second string options slimmer than a Skagen watch, put in the kids. And if they do well, let us not hold their manhoods cheap: put some in against Tottenham and let the boys win their Spurs (next match thread title contender, obvs)
Don't look at the kids' recent results...

Ortega back in the Europa squad.
How come he's allowed to be in and out but we cant replace Savona with Netz?
Goalkeeper rules are different. Think we'd have to say Gunn has a 30 day injury to replace him.
Long-term injury or illness of a goalkeeper: the club concerned may temporarily replace the goalkeeper concerned and register a new goalkeeper at any time during the season. The club must complete the official registration of List A with the replacement goalkeeper. An injury or illness of a goalkeeper is considered long-term if it lasts at least 30 days as of the day the injury or illness occurred. If the goalkeeper recovers before the end of this 30-day period, the player remains nonetheless not eligible to participate in any UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League), until the end of such period. The new goalkeeper does not have to be locally trained, even if the replaced goalkeeper was. The club must provide UEFA with the necessary medical evidence in one of UEFA's official languages. Before confirming the replacement, UEFA may require further medical examination of the goalkeeper by an expert appointed by UEFA at the club's expense. Once the injured or ill goalkeeper is fit to be fielded again, he becomes eligible and/or can resume his position in place of his substitute, who must consequently be removed from the list. The return of the original goalkeeper must be announced to the UEFA administration at least 24 hours before the next match in which the original goalkeeper is due to play.
Btw, I just realised we've got Timmy Cahill's lad on the books. Attacking midfielder apparently.
I was just musing about what squad to play based on resting players for the Spuds and also wanting to give some of the new lot a good go. My no doubt failing team would be in a 3 4 2 1
Sels
Abbott Milenkovic Morato
CHO Yates Sangare Williams
McAtee Hutchinson
NDoye
I'm fairly certain they won't have played that set up but I'm out walking the dogs and that's where my head went to.
Nah. Back three of Abbott, Serbinator and Morato.. I agree with but then have Bakwa and N'Doye as wing backs. Dom and Yatesy in the middle (Dom can handle two games because he is Argie Tuff).
McAtee and Jesus. Lucca at the end if we are desperate.
Taiwo for Sunday. Fuck it. Why the hell not. Chaos bunny cannot score but can make opportunities for others by being well...a chaos bunny. Spuds won't like it up 'em.
Also I think both Bakwa and N 'doye take shots. Well they used to.
We may pull it off. We may be pants. At least we will have Murillo, Aina, Williams, MGW, Ando playing the prem game.
Or we can run them into the ground for European glory!
Chicago: Offering solutions at work.
I agree with Chicago.
Pretty sure that's the first time I've typed those words in twenty years.

Aren't you a player short in your line up? I'll give you Dom in the middle. I'm not giving you the completely lacking confidence Bakwa as a wing back though.

Fuck's sake Chicago. That's what I get for backing a mad yank.
