Shame, everyone loves a wet race.

So they do put safety first sometimes!
I was reading the other day that when the F1 comes to Silverstone they're putting Brad Pitt in a car for the start of the race because of a film colab between him and Lewis Hamilton (or something like that)
I assume Brad Pitt's a pretty talented driver who knows how F1 cars work but it seems like a bit of an additional stress to the race.

They hold themselves out to be the best racing category in the world, but their cars are undriveable in the wet.

I think, in this case, it is more about not having a massive racing car event in a town dealing with this, than it is about the cars not being able to go vroom vroom.

I do feel like the cars have become less able to deal with really wet conditions in recent years, but I don’t know if that’s an actual FACT! Nor do I know how other motorsports fare when there is standing water on the track. Indycar, I believe, has similar issues to F1.

I'd take it as FACT! The triangle of the speed required for aerodynamics, the temperature in the brakes, and load to get the hot tyres all goes out the window when it cobs it down.

Yeah the comment was a more general point rather than specifically in relation to Imola - where I think there has been flooding based on what I've read. Those cars are awesome when it is dry, but the local touring cars competition in Australia is much more interesting if there's any water on the track. That's a shame, because I'd like to see F1 cars which can perform well in more than just perfect conditions.

Br(e)aking news from the world of formula one, as some drivers are expected to keep making the noise of wasps for a bit longer. Or some such pointless nonsense.

If only there had been an issue with cars sucking up manhole covers before all this could have been avoided.

Also bollocks can you get a man down that hole www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/67447322

    Manhole? Sucked off?

Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari apparently. Seems like fairly big news if you're into this kind of thing.

All kicking off at Red Bull now. If you're married to the best Spice Girl there's no need to go sending knob pictures to staff.

"Horner" the clues in the name.
