Home to Blackpool (again) or Forest Green Rovers.

Hoping to take my youngest to his first game so I think this is an excellent draw.

Blackpoo just below Derby outside the playoffs in league one, FGR in the league two relegation places, so probably Poo flashbacks. Assume DJ Campbell and Dobbie will come out of retirement for the game.

Also Forest Green to be thrown out of tournament for playing ineligible Troy Deeney in prior round.

Would that mean Blackpool go through or would Jono Greening’s Scarborough be reinstated and face the Seasiders in R2 instead?

Don't know actually. Would seem fairer to reinstate.

Edit: Barnsley were kicked out and Horsham reinstated to play in round 2, so seems like Blackpool will have to beat someone to play us.

Got to be a good chance of this going to general sale so might have a post Christmas family trip too.

Replays sound like they could screw up date of our game.

FA have said Jonathan Greening's Scarborough v Forest GR is a "one-off match", so no replay.
Bizarre that Barnsley got thrown out, but Forest Green get to replay their game though.

Presume a R2 replay would have to happen on R3 weekend though, as there are no free midweeks.

So it's still Blackpool then.

Tickets on general sale, got one for me (£20) and the older kid (£3). Loads available, doubt it will sell out.

With a week to go it's mostly singles left. I'm going and taking eldest and middle to thier first match. It will sell out.

Are the games so spread out because the telly is covering them all? I might have been tempted on Saturday but can't make the Sunday.

It’s part of the winter break. 2 pl games and FA cup spread out over the month of Jan. Every PL team gets a two week break at some point in that period
