Most will still miss out anyway. I won't be able to get middle child a ticket despite her going to the last 2 rounds, which is what I expected, peddling some bollocks about giving these fans a chance is just irritating.

Fair fucks to the club for getting Forza to deflect the argument here by giving them "privileged" intel but essentially the clubs position is the same as it is with away tickets - we know there are lot of problems but we can't be arsed to address it, fuck off.

It's £52 for Cat A, which included Sheffield United.

But, fundamentally, the problem in both cases is that demand outstrips supply. Anyone who falls on the wrong side of that is going to feel hard done by. (I've seen people say that they should get some priority because they went to lots of away games in league one days.)

Totally - people were always going to miss out. This just p!sses off those who spent good money over the last few years buying ridiculously expensive memberships just for the chance to buy tickets.
I'm a second-tier member and couldn't get a ticket for Liverpool (sold out within two mins of going on sale to my tier), so am going to have to battle the ticket exchange with all the other members for the remote chance of a ticket. The cup game is going to be even worse (I went to Blackpool, but couldn't make the brizzle replay as I was away for work).

And I still can’t get my head around why it’s more expensive for an adult in the family section of the piss stained main stand than it is in the wings of the Upper BC, which has better views.

So you have to decide whether it’s worth the extra £10-15 for your child to be in the area more appropriate for them.

Personally I don't mind a lottery, even if you have to pay for the privilege, I think a closed shop is wrong. I realise this flies in the face of I'm a betterer fan than you but just because 4,500 people lucked in at the right time they not only get a free pass but are also get to pass their tickets on to who they like because it's the easiest option for the club. The tickets being sold at well below market value because of some ill-judged campaign doesn't help either.

Agreed, there is no point having a tier system. With gold and pro the basic point was whilst it costs significantly more you get a ticket for every home game should you want one this is not the case here.

My other theory is that with the increased away allocation maybe they have over promised here and their isn't enough seats for all season ticket holders and pro members, so to save face they've just decided to say nothing (but bollocks) and unleash a shit fight.

    Alright John Yogi Bear.

Normal away tickets in the LB is 3,000 and Manu have 4,400, so that implies about 1,300 Forest LB season ticket holders (allowing for segregation). No chance that there are fewer ST holders than that out of 20,000 who don't bother. Even allowing for the ones who pass the ticket onto their United mates.

I've read the post twice and am still unsure if you are saying Ingos theory is potentially right or wrong.

  • 15 Feb 2024, 9:53 a.m.

He may be right but the club is being over-cautious if that's the case.

  • 27 Feb 2024, 5:18 p.m.

Draw is at 7 tomorrow, so we'll know potential QF opponents before kick-off. Understand it's ratings but do not like.

  • 28 Feb 2024, 1:10 p.m.

Coventry would be ok but don't fancy Leicester, Newcastle or Man City. Anyone other than Liverpool from today's games though.

  • 28 Feb 2024, 3:56 p.m.

Sounds like United have a ton of injuries. No Hojljund, Shaw, Martial, Fernandes, Maguire, Varane or Martinez tonight.

Don't believe anything until the team sheets come out. Given that they are massive underdogs on form (if not refereeing decisions), they could be coopering us.
