Tbf I’d strangle the rat-faced cunt.

I'm very disappointed, even if we would've been humped next round.
I'm also disappointed by Nuno's Hughton-esque approach to subs.

All goalkeepers are. Some of them make some saves.

I appreciate that I’m old and out of touch… even so, Ribiero has a fucking tragic barnet,

I think Matz Sels seems less unlucky.

We'll see. It's not your first time on the groundless opinion rodeo.

Turner was fine tonight and that was never his fault.

We played ok, missed some good chances.

    Ah well

That’s my take. Forest never looked overawed or particularly outmatched. I think that says something after how much hard work the last two rounds took.

No fucking way was that Turner’s fault. It was our inability to defend the set piece correctly. He had no chance. He had a good game and if anyone thinks that he is to blame then you need your head screwing on.

We looked knackered in the second half. Danilo fabulous in the first but needed to be replaced.

They wore us out unfortunately. Surprised Taiwo
Stayed on for the whole game. Let’s hope he is okay for the Scouse scum.

Aaaargh. Could have been ours for the taking but set pieces!!!!

    Bollocks.

In other news we are not shit.

    Chicago: Still optimistic.

    This ^

Plus we really, really didn’t need extra time.

Is it just me, or did that “great ball in from Fernandes” [Shearer, when awarding the laziest Player of the Match award going] free kick look suspiciously like a mis-hit?

And if you’re blaming Turner for conceding that, you’re being unbelievably harsh.

It's not exactly groundless. Turner drops a clanger nearly every game he plays and he's so bad at kicking our workaround is don'tlet him kick if possible. However, but for that and one or two dodgy balls out (overall his kicking was alright though) he may have had his best game for us, no massive saves but he plenty of average ones competently executed. And I'll accept he is capable of making the odd big save. His weaknesses spots are kicking, composure, concentrarion and handling.

It's early days for Sels but he hasn't done much wrong in the 4 games I've seen, he has the presence that Ody and Turner both seem to lack and his kicking looks pretty good.

An offside player standing in the way of another player at a set piece was interfering and offside on Sunday. By Wednesday a player standing in an offside position, pushing a player over as he tries to make a covering run, isn't interfering and thus not offside.

I find that highly unsatisfactory, and the lack of appetite to consider the inconsistency of that, leaves the game in a dark hole for me.

Gio Reyna another to add to the 'why have we signed him?' pile.

Shame because it seems he kicks quite well.

I think the obvious answer is that he's cover for Morgan.

Missed the Nuno post-match press conference. Did he thank the amazing fans, and say that we needed to get back to work on the training ground?

I've no idea, as I'm not even making the effort to listen to it.
