My issue with the tickets is that Man Utd fans are paying £25 and Forest fans for a slightly different view £45. That’s not right.
Also there is no priority for Pro members over members who paid less for memberships meaning a free for all when they hit sale. Im should they could have prioritised those who went to the opening rounds if they wished.
So they can get fucked, I’m not paying £45. Some Nottingham based Man Utd fan can have it, or someone just here for the PL opposition. But they would do well to remember these people won’t be here when it all goes wrong.
Not forgetting memberships are still on sale - so any (Man U) fan can buy a £35 membership today and have the same chance of a ticket as someone who paid £95 for the privilege in the summer.
Previous rounds they've done sale windows as short as four-hours for the different membership tiers. Not sure why they can't do that this time. (Forza suggest the club are wanting to reward the casual fans who helped fill the ground in the previous rounds).
I'm a pro member, previous gold member and long time member. I'm annoyed. Although it costs me at least £45 every game so it's about time your season ticket holders started contributing to our FFP crisis properly.
Yes, and I get that away fans only pay £30 (as it’s the rules). But the £20 difference really isn’t on for me, when we have to give Man Utd a percentage (half?) of the gate receipts anyway.
£30-35 across the board would have been more than fair.
Yeah - not clear why Lower brigford get two days and then ST holders get 5 days (doesn't even allow ST holders to buy theirs in person at the game on Saturday as it's online only until Monday). LB people can't buy ST holders seats anyway, so why not let us all buy at the same time? Although, why not give ST holders the chance to decline to give LB people the chance to buy their seats? And then a week long free for all? Just seems lazy.
Not sure I'd see it as much of a reward being in a big oversubscribed random mix - if that was the aim, they must know who bought tickets for those games, why not give everyone who went to both a day long window? (Guess it would be in breach of the pro membership terms.) I didn't go to Blackpool but Bristol City had lots of parents with kids - that availability isn't going to be there anyway.
Forza on Twitter...
Forest felt, given that many of the standard memberships had helped fill the ground for previous 2 home ties, it was fair to extend same shared priority for this game.
They also advised that with bigger away allocation and more demand, they felt otherwise most would miss out.
This may well be true in my case. It feels for a while that all Cup tickets have been quite heavily discounted, or I've just not noticed. Wembley aside, I can't actually recall ever paying £45 for a football match.
Most will still miss out anyway. I won't be able to get middle child a ticket despite her going to the last 2 rounds, which is what I expected, peddling some bollocks about giving these fans a chance is just irritating.
Fair fucks to the club for getting Forza to deflect the argument here by giving them "privileged" intel but essentially the clubs position is the same as it is with away tickets - we know there are lot of problems but we can't be arsed to address it, fuck off.
