Two fucking useless teams. It's quite a strange feeling to be watching two of the last five Premier League winners and realise we are better than both of them.

Was precisely my view. Wondering quite early on why I was even bothering watching it, but I had the house to myself for once and there was nothing else on. Awful fare.

Thought it was a harsh free kick that oed to the offside Maguire winner.

    But it is Leicester.

    The best result for Leicester.

Nah, you don’t want them getting any confidence or momentum. A few spawny draws and they are in the final before you know it. Get them out and gone.

Does the winner of the FA Cup have any impact on whether the 5th placed team gets a Champions League spot?

No. But it does have a bearing on which league places get Europa league/conference places. If a team in the top 5 wins it, 6th and 7th get the EL, if, say, Spurs won the cup only 6th gets EL.

What if the team who finish sixth win the FA Cup? And is there a place for League Cup winners?

Did some research. League Cup winners go into the Europa Conference League. Which isn't the Europa League. Newkie Brown v Liverpoo in that final, so 8th could get into Europe (I think there are two Europa places, and will be 5 European Cup places).

    1. They go into the Europa League anyway, so it becomes moot.
    2. Europa conference, unless they've qualified for one of the "better" competitions through the league. So Newcastle v Liverpool us a good final for us as, unless Newcastle collapse, it means 7th or 8th (depending on fa cup winner) gets into Europe.

What if Chelsea win the ECL, FA Cup and finish 6th?

It's absolutely ridiculous putting Leyton Orient v Man City on TV when there is no possibility of an upset or anything unexpected happening...

    Oh.
