Why are United playing their exciting new left wing back on the right?
Why are United playing their exciting new left wing back on the right?
No wonder they are losing to leicester
You do know that inverted full backs are as much a thing as inverted wingers, these days?
The idea is to better defend that shot when the inverted winger comes inside, we could call it the Salah, or the Saka, or the CHO. The price obviously being not defending the traditional run to the byline and cross so well. Which isn't a problem so much against Spanish dancers who never cross the ball - putting it at too much risk.
It does mean that such teams risk getting torn a new arsehole by Anthony Elanga's and teams that play football the right way.
Actually don't mind Leicester winning this. United being so shit is funny.
Now it's actually coming to pass, I'm seeing positives in it.
Hilarious manure completely owning my name for them, and Leicester will get humiliated in the next round anyway.
I haven't seen such a lack of quality on the pitch since our championship days. The very definition of two one-legged men in an arse kicking contest.
Sure, see Neco Williams. But Amorim plays wing backs and two 10s, so the wing backs are supposed to stay wide, stretch play and provide crosses, not come inside.
Being there for however many months has fried his brain.
Says who? Maybe they are supposed to come inside, flood midfield, and control the game through the middle.
It's hard to say authoritatively what the intention is. Because the reality is that they are doing fuck all. Pretty impressive to sign people in January, and have lost them before the middle of February.
Second half: manures (arguably) best player on the park, is one they've just put up for sale.
I see that two footed stamp, the Martinez, has spread to other members of the manure squad. Clear red in my view.
Only ever given as a yellow when it's the top brand players doing it.
Two fucking useless teams. It's quite a strange feeling to be watching two of the last five Premier League winners and realise we are better than both of them.
Miles offside that goal. Poor by the linesman.
Thought it was a harsh free kick that oed to the offside Maguire winner.
But it is Leicester.
"about four manure players offside. The assistant didn't put the flag up. There's no VAR. That was offside."
Goal stands.
cf. The Coventry winner against manure ruled out by VAR for an imaginary offside last season.
Oh no! Another mistake!
The best result for Leicester.
Was precisely my view. Wondering quite early on why I was even bothering watching it, but I had the house to myself for once and there was nothing else on. Awful fare.
