I vaguely recall that after the last ever Talkback Tournament Forest played Southampton the next day. I think McGoldrick was playing for them - and maybe scored - and had already agreed to join us the next season? Anyway, we won 3-1 with 3 late goals (a superb Joe Garner lob from a tight angle for one of them). I definitely recall saying to AndyP afterwards that McGoldrick looked exactly the sort of player we needed up front.
