Psycho, psycho, psycho as he walked on? Psycho, psycho, psycho when he regaled you with tales of tough tackles?
It’s a notch up from Gary Birtles warbling on about Brian Clough but I’d have been doing my hair that night. Or something.

I went to one of Psycho’s shows in Nottingham. I enjoyed it. Colin Fray was the MC which probably helped.
Yes, pretty much. My sister got my old man a ticket for his birthday and asked if I'd tag along. I took him out for some food and beer first, which was nice.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful by any stretch but just not really my sort of thing. I'd heard most of the stories before and found the compere from Sky quite irritating.
He told a different version of the 'Barbara's iron' story, so either he or Mark Crossley is regularly dining out on a slightly made-up one - which is probably why I can take or leave these kind of events.
Happy Brice Samba day.

Just rewatched that in full. So so so good. Loved it.
Every time I watch it I can't help chanting SAMBA SAMBA SAMBA for each of their pens and punching the air when ours go in.
I am 54 years old.
The Yatesy dive onto the pile is special.
Tyrese Fornah released by the mutton molesters. Interested to see where he ends up, as he spent the second half of the season on loan at Salford, starting most games.
The "Mayor of Pireaus" has signed a new contract at Olympiacos. He's better known over here as Biancone. They do seem to love him out there.

Winner of the 'Football Icon' thing on Sky to find "football's next superstar ' 20 odd years ago if he' s the same one I'm thinking of.
EDIT. It isn't. Obviously. The actual thread's a clue. Move along....
In non-league football Matt Thornhill has left relegated Basford United after nine years, to join Ilkeston - where he will face newly promoted Hednesford and new signing Kieron Freeman.
In League football, Jamie Paterson is a Pilgrim.
There is an article on the BBC about Lingard, he says that the decision to come to Forest was not his, he wanted to go back to Wet Sham.
Wasn't he a free agent? Who is he saying made the decision?

Yeah I was wondering that, what's he on about. He could have gone there if he'd wanted.
I read it as though he was badly advised by his representatives. My recollection at the time was that Forest were offering more money, but West Ham was the obviously more attractive option - not least because he'd had a fruitful spell on loan there the previous season.
