Funnily enough I'd looked him up the other day as I was reading a Forest match report from way back in which he'd scored. I didn't know he'd had terrible injury issues. That's a real shame.

Karl Darlow, who I didn't realise played for Wales, has just conceded one of the strangest penalties I've ever seen in their match against Kazakhstan.
He dived to his left but the captain's kick went down the middle and hit Darlow's leg, which took all the power out of it. The ball just crept over the line but with enough backspin to almost stop it dead. Lucky boy, the penalty taker.

Just seen Philip Zinckernagel limp off the field for the Chicago Fire against CF Montreal.
As much as I'm grateful for his stint during our promotion season, judging on tonight's display, I'm glad we didn't sign him afterwards. -
