Leeds sent Djed back to Spurs. Wonder if he turns up wherever Cooper's next job is.

Not unless he's off to Genoa.

I thought Cooper had taken the managers job at Genoa for a minute there. I was about to buy a Genoa scarf.

Djed's Mum is travelling to Italy.
    Genoa?
    No, I've never met her.

I heard she was going to Kingston
    Jamaica?
No, it was her own decision.

    His Wycombe stay was shortlived.

Neil Harris knows a thing or two about disappointing strikers at Forest.

I genuinely had no idea that:

    1. Neil Harris was at Cambridge

    2. Cambridge are in League One

    3. Cambridge have been back EFL for a decade now

I used to go to the Abbey Stadium occasionally (Notnum was impractical) so I have an abiding fondness for them and keep an occasional vague eye on their progress or otherwise.

I have been to quite a lot of English football grounds (60some) and seen Forest and Notts play against all manner of teams home and away. I have no recollection of ever having seen Cambridge United play.

11v11 tells me that Forest have played Cambridge once in their history, a 3-3 draw at home in the League Cup in 1998. It's listed as a Forest win, so I assume it went to penalties.

Ditto. Used to live in Cambridge and went to the Abbey sporadically. Dave Kitson was up front.

Also a pre-season friendly at the Abbey just after SVC joined. i have it in my memory that he scored an absolute worldy (think the winner at Peterborough, but further out, nearer the touchline) but Forest lost.

Wasn't the Cambridge penalty shoot out the occasion of the Jenas Panenka penalty?

According to the book written by a former Talkbacker (who may or may not be posting under a pseudonym) Jenas didn't play, so no.
Forest chucked away a 3 goal lead with Bonalair sent off with 7 minutes left. Won 4-3 on penalties.

Think I saw him make his debut in 2000/2001 v Wolves in the cup.

We lost and there was lots of abuse vs the Wolves manager. Some noncery claims.

I was at this game. From memory Cambridge filled the lower bridgford and spilled into the lower exec. We were cruising and they pulled it back.

Is that the same guy who wrote about really loving his adopted kids, then was in trouble with the police for indecent underage images?
