I assume you'd agree he's not bang average at passing either. But it's academic.

There was a check and he was on.
Very not convinced the ball had left the foot of the crosser when the frame was frozen.
Not that it's pertinent, particularly. A lino would probably have played on without VAR. My Spidey sense said offside though.
Spain deserved to win. It is what it is.

Certainly not good enough to get into the team if that's his USP. Numerous players better and more creative, and significantly with a lot quicker feet, in the positions where passing matters.
For me we now need someone to take over who has the scale of personality to follow Southgates (near) successes and who is going to get people to say out loud when we appoint them: What. The. Fuck.
Graham fucking Potter isn't going to do that, with respect to him.
It's too soon for Pep. He won't leave Man City for another year at least.
So the only two who I can see who could do that are Wiegman or Klopp. I don't care that they're not English. I dont care that Wiegman isnt a man. Either would send shockwaves around world football if they became England manager. The FA should be working their collective knackers off to try and persuade one of them.
Assuming that you haven't picked up absolutely nothing from all the football that you have watched, and written stats on. That's got to be trolling. Stop it. You just make yourself look an idiot. Out of concern that you become even more deranged.
1 touch in the box in the last 180 minutes in two euro finals. Guess the player.
You shouldn't need to guess if you have eyes.
You keep saying I'm a troll. But you are trolling. You have made your point. Over and over again. You can't possibly be making it further for any other reason than to wind people who disagree with you. I'm done with it. Goodnight and goodbye. I honestly don't even know what point of my last ones you think I was trolling on, but I don't really care.

All of the stupid ones that demonstrate absolutely no understanding of football. Or an intention to attract attention. So pretty much all of it.
I do feel sorry for Gareth. He's clearly a very decent man, and his record getting England to the sharp pointy ends of tournaments is unmatched in the history of modern football.
It's such a shame that how he sets his teams up completely does my nut.
ITV are saying goodbye to their carbon neutral referee analyst. Net contribution: zero.

In a nutshell.
We didn’t play bravely today. The Spanish pressed much better and obviously made a change at half time because Shaw was winning everything and holding his position in the first half. Walker was caught out at least three times. The goal (I still content offside if we are using VAR the way they have in other games) was because Walker pulled out of the challenge which allowed sideshow Bob to make the pass. Our defence was sleeping but good finish.
It was very humid there. Were we conserving energy for extra time. I would have gone for it but hey ho.
Potter would be a good England manager. He was pretty stellar with Brighton. The Chelsea experiment was essentially here’s 50 new players do something with them.
The secret is finding a forward who can add the icing on the cake. Watkins makes runs. Kane doesn’t anymore. Maybe we will find someone for the World Cup. I may have the hump if Dead legs is still plodding on.
Our best player was Cole Palmer. He is special. Bellingham is certainly our most talented. His pass for the goal was brilliant.
We have the pieces.
Anyway, I will try and catch a game here if I can. Fancy a day trip to the Azteca stadium. That would be a fun time.
Roll on Forest’s Premier league winning campaign.
Chicago: Knackered.
Didn't watch the game. Don't really care about England.
Was at the San Sito in Milan watching Taylor Swift.
She put on a good show. The San Siro is a shit hole. Makes you appreciate English stadia and skill at putting on major events.
A lino would probably have played on without VAR.
Pretty much. In the olden days of humans doing human things, and the benefit of the doubt being rightly given to the attacking player, it’s a goal every time.
Best team won. But props to Southgate.. as underwhelming as his teams usually look when it matters, his achievements are remarkable and he’s a thoroughly decent sort. If it was up to me I’d keep him on.
I think the most important thing to come out of all this is that I pretty much nailed my friend's bracket and my credibility as a football savant amongst people who know nothing about football is through the roof.
