Fucking Hell, mate - even by your standards this is hatstand. One of your primary beefs against an elite level / international goalkeeper is that he behaves like a professional? If you really would prefer to watch some middle-aged, overweight goalkeeper down the local park, that’s fine - but in that case why put so much time & energy into discussing professional football?
I don’t recall you thinking it was “a real shame” when Brice Samba had all the Blunts’ penalty takers on his water bottle. Or is it the fact that Pickford’s was typed that depresses you?

Well we played better but Gakpo will shred Trippier if given the opportunity. Kane was dogshit in that game. I would use Watkins against the Dutch. Why? Because they wouldn’t expect it.
Really we should be starting Cole Palmer. He has been excellent. And let’s be honest without Saka we would have been toast against the Swiss as each team was nullifying each other.
As a point of history I had noted that the Swiss don’t do well against us but the Dutch do. I think our tournament ends against them unless we come up with a rabbit out of the hat. Maybe go mental and do an Austria hive attack. They certainly didn’t like that.
Anyway my main worry Is blocking enough people on my phone so they don’t tell me anything as I cannot watch the game live due to work.
For the record, France/Spain will be way more entertaining.

Is 'most' none, or one?
In fairness I did see him try to put pressure on an opponent, running back, in the last game. He didn't get there, but it was notable that he had a go.
I'm not really calling anything else that he has done 'pressure'.

Seriously, does anyone remember him putting any pressure on anyone? Pressure, for me, is closing them down and forcing them a particular direction, or forcing them to hurry. It's not moving towards them with an exponentially decreasing stride pattern to give them the time to do whatever they want.
But others may measure it differently.
It's a great example that 'data' isn't a truth. There's subjectivity to how your analogue view of the game is digitised. Without context and understanding of the measurement, data may not have the value that you think it has.

I'm not addressing this to anybody in particular to be clear.
If one is watching the Euros only on TV the one doesn't necessarily get the full picture of what of use a player is doing off the ball.
If you are the best goalscorer in the world, it's also possible to influence play without actually doing anything much because of how others react to you.

Indeed, and we've made this point before. His reputation precedes him. Particularly against "lesser" teams like Slovenia and Slovakia.
However, the Dutch analysts will have examined England's performances in a number of games, as well as this tournament. And Ake and Van Dijk have played against him before.
I imagine the Dutch camp are desperate for Kane to start.(It's also a similar point to one I made about Elanga last season - teams were petrified of his pace, without recognising his decision-making and end product were usually terrible and he gifted possession away repeatedly).

5 goals 9 assists is not bad for someone with terrible end product though, which presumably why Newcastle want him. If he can improve that even a little we will have some player.
