We've generally been better, but the good stuff we created has lacked a striker making striker runs. Much more balance when Trippier went off. Fuck knows why we played over an hour with him.

He probably would be about to hit the winning penalty if we hadn't subbed him. But Cole and Bellingham were never going to miss. Class from Saka. This is where our best players in the tournament thang comes in handy.

Lost our shape once Kane went off, but no choice as he was run into the ground and looked uneasy after he clattered into Southgate.
Saka man of the match.
Honourable mentions to Konsa, Mainoo and Cole again. We also looked much more balanced with Shaw on and Eze made an impact.
Cole must start ahead of Foden who offers nothing and is physically a runt.
Best players, worst coach. Still a possibility we could win this. And a likelihood we reach the final.

I know everyone hates Toney but the way he holds the keepers eyes, never looks at the ball or the goal, and just slots it in the corner is incredible
