On the other hand we have the players to play differently, you can be equally solid playing high and pressing with players who run forward, create space for others, and players who can hit then. It doesn't need a lot of adjustment for players who play that way at club level. They won't be as good - top international teams are not as good as top club sides - but nor will they have an inbuilt glass ceiling if it clicks.
There's no excuse for playing structured and safe and having no plan. These are not people who have never seen each other before. They've been on holiday together for weeks.
