I’m not surprised Shearer thought it was a penalty, because Shearer was so good at cheating he probably doesn’t even know the difference any more.. but as much as dunking on refs is a legitimate way to pas the time, their job really isn’t helped by coaches and ‘experts’ lining up to criticise them for occasionally not falling for this kind of shite.
