Well, fuck. Can't really argue with the result though, they deserved it.

I'm sure Kane will enjoy his 8 month share.

We'll never really know, will we.

I thought you were a Bayern Munich fan? I don't get the hate. Anyway whatever. I give up. Southgate should too, on balance. Klopp please or Sarina Wiegman.

It's not hate to say that his style of play works playing downhill against minnows, but wins you fuck all at the sharp pointy end of the season. It's just unfortunate fact. An hour of him lumbering around doing fuck all cost us again. For me.

I am a Bayern fan. And identifying him as being ineffective isn't hatred. But you know that, you just can't help being a nob.

And yet 26 year old Olmo has just won his 13th Senior team trophy.
While Harry “I’ve got another golden boot” Kane has just lost his sixth final.

So has Gareth succeeded by reaching another final, or failed by stifling all his attacking talent to carry a passenger up front and losing to the first really good team he’s come up against, again?

I don’t watch Bayern but at Spurs Kane always had quick players running past him. Without that, I don’t see how he works. He’s obviously a good player but England have always had an obsession of cramming the best players into the team, regardless of whether it works for the team.

If Southgate goes, I expect the new man to make the fairly common start (back to Robson and Keegan in my memory) of dropping the old captain.

Whatever I thought we weren't allowed to have dialogue.

He isn't the only one who has not looked sharp: Foden, Bellingham, Rice have all been patchy. But they're top quality, so they've justified it with moments of class. As has Kane.

Anyway, I agree this is probably a match which should signal the end of the Southgate / Kane era so it's academic. Out with the old and all that. If it is though, going out in a final and winning the golden boot isn't bad.

Three goals is a bit embarrassing for a golden boot winner to be honest. And sharing the trophy?? Is it primary school sports day again?

We could easily appoint a more attacking manager and get nowhere near another final. Southgate has had remarkable success in getting the squad in a great frame of mind for tournament progression. Something we have lacked under almost every other manager in my lifetime.

Unfortunately we have come short on the details of the game play at the highest level. And short from the brand.

That was offside if they actually show the line of the players. The Spanish were better but I would argue that was not a goal. Not even a check.

    Chicago: Complaining over nothing .

There was a check and he was on.

    FTFY

As a player, in all round play, he's bang average.

    They put the lines on.
    He was off.

I assume you'd agree he's not bang average at passing either. But it's academic.
