TV coverage here is so weird. The match ends, the commentator says the result and then it's 10 minutes of footage of fans and players at the ground with no observations or analysis, and then it goes to a test card until the next game starts.
You'd think they would have a sodding podcaster or something just to fill in the gaps. -
Assume the commentary is sourced. Back in the days of early Setanta when I worked in the bar, coverage was a lot like that.

I'd have taken the sound of tumbleweed over the bbc coms and co coms. At least they played the housemartins over the outro montage.

It really is off-putting, you’d get the countdown and color bars but no analysis at all. Then that was replaced with endlessly repeated fluff pieces. And then, finally, Setanta’s Spitting Image puppet Mourinho in “comedy” sketches.

Once upon a time I used to hope Turkey wouldn't qualify or get knocked out early, so that the Turnpike Lane bit of Green Lanes didn't become a race track for LadzLadzLadz speeding around, honking their horn and waving Turkish flags out of the window. Not much danger of that where i am now.
I used to wonder what the English equivalent should be. I suppose I could've waved my Oyster card out of the window on the top deck of the 144 bus. -
I'm not watching but there seems to be a difference of opinion as to whether it was Gakpo or an own goal. Would be Gakpo's 4th goal I think? Denting Kane's / Jamesob's golden boot hopes.

Officially an own goal. Mainly because Gakpo never touched it at any point.
Kane will definitely be along to score the winner and bag that golden boot in a minute.

I think he's still out there, gathering up the strength to finally make a run behind the defence. Who are probably on a plane home by now.
Turkey are unlucky there. Probably deserved something out of the game.
