Everybody has a made up name. That's the joke.

But Brazilians make up names to play football, along with their normal life made up names.

Oh no, you mean some people have more than one made up name?

    Still the joke.

Up against some top managerial talent there as well.

The scotchland ex-queens park and IFC player football friend appears to have travelled back today with Alex McLeish. Who suggested that he should have been a centre half. Which goes some way to explaining his later managerial career.

If you want to see an example of the things that I'd like a striker to do, that Kane doesn't do, look at the part that Lukaku played in that Belgium goal. Or rather all the parts. I mean he's a big lumbering oaf, it's not like I'm expecting Kane to be Achilles. Just do focal point strikery things.

In Germany the trains, and everything else, run on time.

I remember, a few years ago now, speaking with a Swiss (not the one I mentioned recently) about how a minister of transport had to resign. Because a train was late.

Can you imagine here? We'd be through the house of Commons and out of candidates in an afternoon. It would be a bit like how tories get through prime ministers, but even worse!

I've heard multiple complaints about how shit the German train network is so I'm not sure you're opening statement is true anymore.

The first bit was a joke. The second bit wasn't.

German companies are making a killing out of our trains. They are probably paying to have theirs run down, so they can repeat the model.
