MGW on front of program I'm told. But still doesn't start.

Hoping to hear big chants of Thomas Tuchel what a wanker.

You’d think. But it will be Keir Starmer who’s the wanker and the mongs will be singing the hearts out for Tommy Robinson who’s currently sunning himself on their dime in the Bahamas. Delightful.

I understand Kane has his 2nd ball / bits and pieces tap in, but what exactly is the point of playing him in a friendly over giving more playing time to alternatives?

Harry Kane. Scores a tap in.

Also Harry Kane. Drops deep and gives the ball away in his own half twice, then fails to keep up with the resulting counter attack.

The media will only report one of these things.

Lewis-Skelly sounds like a shit town in Lancashire.

I keep reading it in the voice of Fred Elliott off (off) Coronation Street.

    Truly depressing.

Lee Dixon says the City Ground normally rocking and it's testament to Senegal that they've kept crowd quiet.

No dickhead, it's because it's just the shit Wembley crowd transplanted to Nottingham not the usual folks!

MGW on as 1 of 3 changes that sees dead legs off but no actual CF come on.
    And now it's 1-2.

It’s quite impressive that nearly every decision Tuchel has made this week has been the wrong one.

I'd feel sorry for Ivan Toney flying from Saudi for 3 minutes if he was pretty much anyone other than Ivan Toney.

Morgan looked good when he came on.

    Shocking VAR decision.

Thought he moved the ball quickly which was exactly what they needed. A lot of them are so ponderous in possession. Sadly I suspect Tuchel will consider that to be not disciplined enough and we might not see him in the next squad.

I'm hoping Tuchel's not in charge of the next squad!

I checked out of international football the moment Tuchel was appointed. Nothing personal, but i see it as a no possible win with a German in charge.

No chance the spineless FA sack him now though. I mean. Look where we are.

Where we are is lightyears behind Argentina, Portugal, Spain, France and Germany. (And a lap or two behind a fair few others). They are now refining their systems and coming up with plans B, C and D. We have a manager who has a decent track record and is a good tactician who seems to be falling straight into the trap of a ponderous, risk-free England. We might have a plan A if he pulls a serious rabbit out of a small hat but it’s risible how off the pace we are in terms of international football.
